Politically correct is merely a tool by the radical left to force free people into a particular behavior they wouldn’t normally find normal. Marxist use the PC tool to invoke their self-made restrictions on a free society to control and force their belief system upon a willing society.
A remedy for the politically correct problem is to not listen, don’t do it and remain free. If you’re threatened with a law suit or other form of harassment you must not abide by the radicals dictum, they have no right to alter your freedoms under the United States Constitution.
Here are two glaring examples of political correctness gone amuck and how free people bend to the demands of the Marxists and effect the lives of other free people.
Yet another spineless public school official is caving under pressure from atheist bullies. East Point Academy, a public elementary charter school in Cayce, South Carolina, has participated in a Christmas toy drive for needy children for the past several years with no complaints from students or parents. This year, an outside group is threatening to sue the school if it continues it’s Christmas charity.
However, the outside groups making the demands, which the school has decided to comply with, are using the Constitution under a false narrative:
The mission of American Humanist Association’s legal center, according to the letter, is “to protect one of the most fundamental principles of (American) democracy: the Constitutional mandate requiring separation of church and state.”
The phrase “separation of church and state” does not appear anywhere in the Constitution. Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a “wall of separation” between the church and the state (James Madison said it “drew a line,” but it is Jefferson’s term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion.
Thomas Jefferson, is directly responsible for giving us this phrase. In his 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association, then-President Jefferson used the phrase. He said:
Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his god, [the people, in the 1st Amendment,] declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.
Mr. Jefferson did not have a hand in authoring the Constitution or the 1st Amendment but as a proponent of separation between church and state in the Virginia legislature.
Next we have School Bans Christmas Carols… Even Without Words
York Preparatory Academy in South Carolina banned Christmas carols recently – even when they are played by the school band.
On behalf of concerned parents, Alliance Defending Freedom sent a letter Tuesday to a South Carolina public charter school whose band director prohibited students from performing the music to “Joy to the World” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” A student also provided the letter to the school at a board meeting Tuesday night.
School officials claim they received some type of communication from either the American Civil Liberties Union or another group that prompted the ban after students had already begun rehearsing the pieces for a concert.
Both the band director and principal of York and authorities at East Point have succumbed like the cowards they are.
You are threatened by a letter and instead of fighting you join in with the radicals and prevent time honored traditions from being continued because groups are using the Constitution falsely and threatening you. Instead of teaching the principles of the Constitution in school teachers and administrators are doing the opposite by giving in to the radicals.
The band director and principal at York and principal at East Point are intimidated by the ACLU or other groups. They should be fired immediately. Politically correct is stupid and gives in to the Marxists who use PC to control and take away freedoms and liberties that are in fact in the US Constitution.
Do NOT bend, FIGHT!
