It’s Christmas season and the Obama’s are reaching out to parents to help with the Obamacare drive which is depending on the youth to subsidize a classic socialist model of failure.
“And we urge people to reach out. And if they signed up their child, then signed up — sign up their friends,” Mrs. Obama said. “You know, if you’ve got grandkids, make it a Christmas treat around the table to talk about a little health care. You know, ring in the new year with a — new coverage.”
All of us overlook the fact that the younger generation have already been focused upon by numerous federal government redistribution programs.
Regarding America’s age cohorts, the under-30 group may be the least apt to be currently employed, as well as more than likely to work at low-wage or part-time employment.
Millennials currently shell out substantial payroll taxes pertaining to Social Security and Medicare coverage for the seniors. However, the majority of economists forecast each system will quickly turn out to be bankrupt and won’t have the ability to expand the existing standard of benefits to younger contributors once they leave the workplace.
We’re presently in the most significant economic decline ever since the Great Depression. The currently normal 7 percent unemployment (real numbers have it at 23.3%) strikes the younger particularly hard. Their unemployment rate characteristically varies from two to three times greater than the nation’s average. Demanding employers provide Obamacare policy coverage will certainly increase unemployment and, once again, do the the majority of damage to those who find themselves just getting into the workforce.
The younger generation in America are obligated to pay in aggregate around $1 trillion in delinquent student education loans. Although some of their rates of interest tend to be subsidized, some are not and range between 5 percent to 9 percent during a period when mortgage loans may still be obtained for around 4 percent.
Universities and colleges regularly increased their tuition fees at a level greater than inflation. They presumed that young adults could continually borrow additional money each and every year in order to subsidize a largely unaccountable institution.
Typically the curriculum associated with too many universities and colleges don’t teach adequate mathematics and language competencies. The younger generation didn’t dream up the race, class, along with gender business that frequently crowds out skills-based courses and replaces therapeutic “studies” programs. At the same time while students will need conventional basic education more than ever before, educational institutions tend to be turning out graduates having pricey degrees, acquired with borrowed funds, whom employers don’t view as extensively educated job seekers.
Obamacare won’t, as the Barack Obama and his minions promise, “lower the cost of your premiums by up to $2,500 a year.” The majority of estimates report that the Affordable Care Act will include trillions towards the currently enormous national debt. The present $17 trillion aggregate debt is mostly a direct result out-of-control entitlement commitments which mushroomed during the last two decades and essentially paid to individuals over the age 30.
You can find a variety of time bombs integrated into Obamacare.
Should we compel medical doctors to take care of the countless brand new Medicaid patients who’re registering for services which can be only partially paid for? Exactly how will the IRS obtain penalties from millions of off-the-books young people who opt not to purchase coverage?
From the recently insured that decided to not purchase medical health insurance previously, how many will abide by their preliminary registrations along with regular month-to-month premium repayments? In the event that many don’t, how can we collect what these people are obligated to repay? Will individuals who lost their particular insurance coverage have the funds to purchase the more expensive Obamacare substitute plan?
Of these unanswered concerns, probably the most troubling pertain to the requirement that millions of so-called Millennials must acquire health care insurance – projected at approximately $1,700 annually – which they’ll scarcely utilize. Their monthly premiums allegedly will subsidize elderly, in-need Americans who can’t pay for the total costs associated with insurance coverage which they’ll use regularly.
While rates of interest sneak up, the price of servicing the nation’s financial debt may claim one-third of the annual federal government budget. The millennial generation should come of age eventually to pay for increased taxes while receiving fewer government services to cover for preceding generations who desired more things on credit charged to their grandchildren.
It is typically an easy task to caricature the young. Today’s young people discover costly iPhones and iPads as essential compared to a earlier generation’s inexpensive pencils and pens. A number of younger individuals dress in sneakers and sun glasses which cost more than three months of health-care payments. Suburban children are as apt to be enjoying video games during weekend mornings instead of mowing the lawn or raking leaves.
With that explained, the aging ’60s generation has a lot more to explain. We’re passing over a completely different America to our younger generation. They’ve been given a worse education compared to prior generations with a far greater price from mainly borrowed funds.
There are actually fewer job opportunities along with increased taxes. Other people ran up the enormous debt; the younger generation will essentially pay for it during the subsequent half-century. Early marriage along with child rearing, a nice residence, a couple of vehicles, as well as pay-as-you-go higher education for the children are fast transforming into an illusion from a bygone era.
Professors spoke mellifluously regarding fashionable eco-friendly concerns, gay and lesbian rights, and abortion while not explaining that these lectures emerged at substantial financial costs. “Hope and change” benevolent federal government seemed fantastic to the young and idealistic. What had been omitted was a mesmerized cohort was taken for granted and therefore viewed as an easy mark to pay for it.
To put it briefly, the younger generation has been duped.
Anyone paying attention knows Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) is on the nut case side of anything we might consider normal behavior but after all, she’s from California and has been a part of the Washington DC establishment too long.
In fact, she’s a perfect example why Conservatives need to fight for control in Congress and the White House and why Constitutionalists must continue to fight against people like her.
Beyond Feinstein wanting to take away your 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms she thinks complaining about the National Security Agency (NSA) who is spying on regular Americans as well as world leaders who are considered friendly to the United States are dangerous. Feinstein wants to make it illegal to speak out against the courts and intelligence community.
Last week Feinstein published an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal which supporting NSA surveillance and claims the 9/11 attacks could have been prevented had the current spying program existed than.
“We would have detected the impending attack that killed 3,000 Americans,” she wrote.
And this past Monday the erstwhile Senator claimed that collecting phone data “is not surveillance” but a handy means to fighting terrorism. This is always the excuse politicians who demand control over the citizens act. They make claims to scare the population into believing they’re protecting the masses.
However, two Senators in the Senate Intelligence Committee with Feinstein, both Democrats, wrote a letter to NSA director Keith Alexander, criticizing him by detailing:
“Saying that ‘these programs’ have ‘disrupted dozens of potential terrorist plots’ is misleading if the bulk phone records collection program is actually providing little or no value.”
Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Mark Udall (D-CO) detailed how the NSA has only stopped a few pieces of terror plots over the years – contradictory to Senator Feinstein’s assertions and more proof she is a radical who wants to diminish the US Constitution.
We also have to go across the pond, albeit to a Lefty rag The Guardian, to get more information on Feinstein’s Leftist ways since the MSM in America is not reporting on their Comrades. She is planning on introducing legislation that would make it a crime and would criminally punish those who make critical statements about the NSA and its secret courts.
This legislation would be coming on the heals of Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) lawsuits against the NSA for its unconstitutional surveillance of US citizens.
Feinstein and senior intelligence officials all deny bulk data collection exists, yet another Lefty, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) is proposing legislation in opposition of the upcoming Feinstein bill.
One more reason term-limits should be put on place for elected officials. Experience only counts for those who become entrenched in DC and build their power base which they never wish to leave. They not only lose control, they actively expose their radical views.
Do you believe your government is working in your best interests? Do you believe your freedoms and liberties are intact? Do you believe your way of life is at risk? Are you a low information Zombie?
Don’t Be Fooled – Government Want’s Your Freedom and Liberty NOW!
Really now, can cell phones actually kill you? Isn’t a cell phone only as good as the user?
The majority of cell phone users I observe come off a moron’s with a new toy. Aimlessly chatting while turning a corner in their over-sized vehicle barely managing to stay on the road. Or seeing all types of vehicles suddenly crossing the center line then noticing them not paying attention to the road but texting or chatting way on their toy.
I’m sorry but the general public is generally stupid. What is more important, taking a phone call or writing a text message or staying safe. Walking across the street while thumbing through your cell phone apps isn’t going to keep you alive very long. You may think you look important to the world going by but no one really notices you except possibly how stupid you appear.
I’ve seen more people who think they’re world champion multi-taskers who can’t push a shopping cart while talking on their cell phone. Everyone has one, even those free Obama-phones provided by the government for votes. Those bottom dwellers are dangerous in their voting habits as well as to the public safety when they’re talking, texting and operating a vehicle.
However, you really have to be a desperate and stupid individual if you drop your phone on subway tracks then decide to jump down off the platform to retrieve your phone. Their is no APP for stupid.
A witness to the act of retrieving a cell phone from subway tracks in the Wakefield section of the Bronx in New York City said:
“I have to believe the guy actually committed suicide.”
That may be giving the now dead person too much credit.
People in big cities have dumb voting habits, in my humble opinion. They always go for the socialist who will provide the most entitlements, the freebies if you will. But dumb goes a very long way in New York, they have Mayor “Nanny” Bloomberg, a control freak of the state, and now the stained Anthony Weiner is back from exposing himself on the Internet and polling well after his announcement to run for mayor of the Big Apple. New Yorker’s will probable vote this guy in.
But as Forrest Gump’s mother said – “Stupid is as stupid does.”
In New York or anyone where else, attempting to fish your cell phone off of live and busy subway tracks will most likely not end well.
So we have CBSNewYork reporting,
A man was killed by a subway train in the Bronx early Saturday, after he jumped down onto the tracks to grab a cell phone he had dropped.
Technology is a great thing. In the hands of stupid people it can be deadly. Fortunately the “Bronx Jumper” didn’t take anyone with him.
